World Card Making Day complete!

Celebrating World Card Making Day was so much fun with a lot of great friends and family! Over the 2 day event we were able to complete over 75 cards and small projects to share. Most cards were created following the specific card kit, however some changed it up and made the design work for a specific need! Love It! This was a great time and will definitely become an event we will do again!
NOW this week is World Card Sending week... Lets get those beauties in the mail and spread those greetings and sentiments with those we love and care for!

Day 5 and it's a treat!

Fall is such a TREAT!

Well I am ready now for a fun packed day of card making! My sneak peek today is not a card, but 2 simple treat packaging ideas that will be available at my WCMD event on Saturday and Sunday to make and take! I do love making 3D items as much as I love card making! These two are easy to duplicate and always a hit when filled with a treat!
The mini pizza box is food safe and lined to be able to hold a home made cookie too!
The belly band just slides over the box so it can be kept and treasured. Also great for packaging small items for gifting. Adorn the belly band with pumpkins using the apple punch  then add the die cut leaves in any fall colors you desire! Of course it will be gorgeous as a Christmas treat as well.
Let your imagination and creativity go!
Making the little pocketful of sunshine treat holder is as simple as stamp, die cut and assemble!!This is also a great treat holder for any season!
Here are most of the products used to create these and by clicking the photo you will go directly to my shopping page!

Day 4 of my sneak peek World Card Making Day!

Today I chose to preview one of the sympathy cards that I have prepped for this Saturday and Sunday.
The Pretty Posy cardstock is such a nice feminine choice for this one. It teams up beautifully with Blackberry Bliss for the little violets  and any green will do for the leave, I used Mint Macaron. The flowers were punched out, but any of your small flower dies will work just as well. The real fun with this card was making the oval frame with the Heirloom dies and embossing folder! I did use dimensionals to give it the proper  thickness. The sentiments from the set are so fitting for this beautiful sympathy card.

The Moments in My Life

My Wednesday sneak peek card is a beautiful friendship card!
World card Making Day is celebrated the first Saturday of October each year.
Making a card and sending a card is a rewarding experience that I have found very rewarding in the making, sending, and also sharing the fun with my friends & customers!
This year I am having a two day event to celebrate FALLING in love with card making!
I have chosen a great selection of cards I have made with my customers at card classes this past year and many that have been inspired or copied and shared from other great Stampin' Up demonstrators around the world!  This one is simple and stunning! It uses a sheet of foil card stock embossed with a beautiful embossing folder called Scripty #149634! This is so elegant and adds such a perfect texture. I find myself using this embossing folder over and over.
The daisy punch, NOW available in two sizes, is the quick and simple way to add a 3D touch to your card. Of course you can just stamp a daisy, but why not make it really pop!
Here are the products Used in the creation of this daisy lane card:
Check back tomorrow for sneak peek day four!

Day 2 of World Card Making day card share

Today I will share another of the card choices I have selected for my World Card Making Day event!

This beauty is  another very easy card! The base is whisper White and I layered a mat of Champaign foil under the Cajun Craze layer. Then I cut the filigree design  mat from the Beautifully Detailed Laser cut designer series paper and added that to the front of the card. So pretty already just needed a Greeting stamped on Crumb Cake thin strip and added two maple leaves using the Gathered Leaves dies!  Not  alot of effort for a great seasonal feeling card...  I am in Love with the Come to Gathere suite! All of the colors and papers just say "Fall is Here" This is a beautiful season to celebrate for sure.
Here is the list of products used to create this one...
Oh, and the greeting came from the Woven Heirlooms #149306 stamp set, but this could be for any occasion celebrating the season!

Good Monday end of September !

As I prep for World Card making Day
I am learning just how technology challenged I really am!
It has taken me most of the morning to try to get some pictures to show of my card choices for this coming event...UGHHH! I can take pictures, some good some bad, but to do a watermark, that is a challenge... but I will conquer that too! I will post one a day... even though I have prepped about 20 cards to choose from! This one is a very easy card but looks like there is lots of effort involved.
I have a list of products used in the process listed below. The color of choice on this one is one of my favorites, Soft Sea Foam.  Adding silver embossing to the greeting and small pearl accents  make this card a very feminine card. I can also see this used for sympathy, anniversary, wedding,
or thank you cards!
If you do not have a Stampin'Up demonstrator, I would love to be able to help you with that!
