Good Monday end of September !

As I prep for World Card making Day
I am learning just how technology challenged I really am!
It has taken me most of the morning to try to get some pictures to show of my card choices for this coming event...UGHHH! I can take pictures, some good some bad, but to do a watermark, that is a challenge... but I will conquer that too! I will post one a day... even though I have prepped about 20 cards to choose from! This one is a very easy card but looks like there is lots of effort involved.
I have a list of products used in the process listed below. The color of choice on this one is one of my favorites, Soft Sea Foam.  Adding silver embossing to the greeting and small pearl accents  make this card a very feminine card. I can also see this used for sympathy, anniversary, wedding,
or thank you cards!
If you do not have a Stampin'Up demonstrator, I would love to be able to help you with that!

Almost ready!!

Busy week coming up!

All cards are prepped for my World Card making Day event next Saturday and Sunday!
I' m very excited to share the process of card making with so many friends! We always have a great time at these card classes. I have discovered it is a very relaxing hobby and most that attend totally agree! There is a satisfied feeling the creation  brings and then to be able to share it by giving to someone is the added PLUS! Watch for the pictures of single cards starting tomorrow!!

Getting some inspiration for Holiday cards!

I have loved this stamp set, Toile Christmas, from the moment I saw it!
I just wanted to make cardinals all day! This card is my first of many I am sure! The cardinalis from Toile  Christmas bundle is stamped on Real Red cardstock, but I did add a little color in areas throughout the wings with blends in Cherry cobbler and Real Red . To make sure his beak stood out I stamped an extra cardinal with Memento on Whisper White and colored in with Blends then fussy cut to layer on the beak. The embossing folder I used is the Scripty one to give just a little texture to the background.
Then I cut the Heirloom oval frame out of gold foil, embossed it. The oval inside is just Whisper White and stamped with a sentiment from Frosted  Foliage in Versamark,  heat embossed with gold. All of the embellishing around the cardinal is Old Olive cuts from the Frosted Foliage bundle and branches from the Colorful Seasons set.
Also added some snow  and ice!!  All the items used are listed below. You can shop with me on my website to recreate this card!
